What does "Alegre" mean?

Who do you typically work with?
I partner with individuals and families navigating complex financial decisions. If you have equity compensation, or you are facing a life transition such as early retirement, a family change, a job change, the loss of a loved one, or an unexpected windfall, let's connect. My clients appreciate a proactive, strategic approach to managing complexity.
What services do you offer?
I provide three core service models to meet you where you are in your financial journey:
- Comprehensive Wealth Management 0.8% of AUM, assessed quarterly Ongoing advice, investment management, and proactive planning.
- Comprehensive Financial Planning $2,500 to $5,000 per quarter, based on complexity Advice and strategy, including investment advice, while you place the transactions and manage investments at the broker of your choice. This is a popular option for those who want guidance without giving up control.
- One-Time Financial Plan $5,000 to $7,500, based on complexity A complete roadmap to help you confidently move forward on your own terms.
I also offer educational speaking engagements for workplaces and professional groups.
How do you get paid?
I am a fee-only firm, meaning I do not receive commissions or incentives from product sales. My only compensation comes directly from the clients I serve.
Are you a fiduciary?
Yes. Acting in your best interest isn't just my legal obligation, it's the foundation of how I believe advice should be delivered.
What is your investment philosophy?
I believe in evidence-based, tax-aware investing, long-term discipline, and a tailored portfolio designed around your specific goals, risk tolerance, and evolving tax strategy.
Do I need to move my investments to work with you?
For comprehensive wealth management, I typically manage investments on your behalf to ensure alignment and proactive tax planning. For financial-planning-only engagements, you are welcome to maintain your current investment relationships.
Do you work remotely or in person?
I primarily work with clients virtually, which offers the flexibility to connect from wherever life takes you and helps us maintain consistent communication around busy schedules without sacrificing personal connection.
That said, in-person meetings can be arranged when it's meaningful or preferred. My goal is to make the planning process as seamless and comfortable as possible for you.
How often will we meet?
Comprehensive and planning-only clients typically meet quarterly, with ongoing access year-round as life changes. One-time plan clients typically have a 30-day follow-up engagement once the plan is delivered.
What technology do you use?
I use secure, modern planning tools like RightCapital and Altruist, along with encrypted document vaults, to keep your financial world organized and accessible.
Is there a minimum portfolio size or income requirement?
I believe great planning shouldn't be exclusive, so my service models are structured to provide the right level of support whether you are building wealth or already well-established. I specialize in supporting high-income earners who are building meaningful wealth and navigating increasingly complex decisions around taxes, equity compensation, and long-term independence.
